What solutions do Health Coaches offer?
Health Coaches offer holistic, ‘360°’ solutions that work around and for the person. Health Coaches work with individuals on a variety of issues and blocks, including diet, exercise, daily habits and mindset, and tailor advice to the individual.
For nutritional changes, this could mean teaching individuals how to intuitively eat; tackling food cravings; implementing foods for hormonal balance; or changing meal times. It could mean a detailed meal plan, or small new daily habits.
For fitness changes, a Health Coach might help the individual to re-find their love for movement; introduce daily exercise; relieve neck strain; or achieve a weight- or appearance-based goal.
For lifestyle and mindset changes, the work might centre around growth mindset; self-care; consistent morning/ evening routine; a journalling practice; or support in consistency. The individual may wish to find more inner peace, or fulfilment in their job - the possibilities are as wide-ranging as we are unique.
A Health Coach will offer solutions that allow the client to align their life with their visions.

Feeling Our Best
Feeling and being our best shouldn’t be complex, expensive or stressful. Many of us push our goals and dreams to the side, ignoring the inner nudge to make a change.
Maybe we have a job that makes prioritising our health hard, or we live with a chronic illness that we’re drained by. Maybe we wish to make peace with food, or enjoy and make time for exercise. Whatever blocks we experience, there is always a way out with the right support and approach - a Health Coach makes this possible.
Feeling our best can be simple, and is closer than we often think.
Holistic vs. Other Approaches
Most Health Coaches take a holistic approach that looks at individuals as a whole, rather than treating only parts of them. Holistic healing is based on the wisdom that everything within us and our lives is interconnected, and so we need to heal mind, body and soul/ self when we want to make changes.

Are Health Coaches trained and regulated?
The coaching industry is unregulated, and so it is possible that individuals can call themselves a ‘Health Coach’ without any formal training or insurance.
As a formally qualified Holistic Health Coach, I completed my training with the UK’s biggest provider of Health Coach training - the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM). This is the only Health Coach Diploma that is accredited by the NHS’s PCI (Personalised Care Institute). It is also approved by the UK and International Health Coaching Association (UKIHCA) and the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP), amongst others. This course provides in-depth study of the human body, nutrition, fitness, holistic health and coaching standards, with lectures and materials created by leading experts in those fields.
What’s the purpose of health coaching?
A Health Coach helps individuals to achieve their goals as it relates to their health, wellbeing and overall life fulfilment.
The purpose of health coaching is to provide personalised care by helping individuals achieve the things that matter to them. Health coaching aims to empower individuals with the confidence, knowledge and mindset needed for sustainable, long-lasting change.
Just like a therapist helps us with breakthroughs in our emotional life, or a personal trainer creates a program for achieving our fitness goals, a Health Coach will look at your overall wellbeing and support you through transforming this.
A Health Coach takes individuals from where they are to where they want to be.
